Ryan Kirschner
President
Ryan is a senior from Needham, MA, majoring in Finance and pursuing the Real Estate Certificate. This is his sixth semester with IREF. This summer, Ryan joined Eastdil Secured in their Boston Office as a Summer Analyst. After graduation, he will be returning to Eastdil Secured full-time as an Analyst. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, spending time with friends, playing basketball, and traveling.
Alex Breton
Portfolio Manager
Alex is a senior management major from Natick, MA. He’s in his sixth semester with IREF, where he serves as Portfolio Manager. In his free time, he enjoys working out, cooking, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family. After graduation, he will be joining Jones Street Investment Partners full-time as an Asset Management Analyst.
Nicholas Julian
Chairman
Nicholas is a senior from Lynnfield, MA, pursuing a degree in finance and a certificate in real estate. This is his seventh semester in IREF. In fall of 2022, he participated in IREF's Real Estate Development Program. Nicholas interned at TD Bank in Boston as an Institutional Commercial Real Estate Intern and will be returning full-time as a Credit Analyst II in summer 2026. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys listening to music, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
Meghan Maher
Director
Meghan is a junior from Melrose, MA studying finance and pursuing the Real Estate Certificate. This is her 4th semester in the fund, previously serving as President of Real Estate Club. Last summer Meghan interned at GID on their Multifamily Acquisitions team. Next summer she will be interning at PwC in Boston on their Financial Markets and Real Estate team. In her free time she enjoys trying new food spots, playing pickleball, and going on walks.
Tyler Henlotter
Development Officer
Tyler Henlotter is a senior finance major. Tyler worked at CBRE Investment Management this past summer on the Insights & Intelligence team. Other internships Tyler has done were financial markets and real estate intern at PwC and global real estate intern at Biogen. Outside of school Tyler enjoys woodworking, charcuterie boards, and skiing.
Eamon Hume
Principal
Eamon is a junior from Marshfield, Massachusetts, pursuing a finance degree and the Real Estate Certificate. This is his fourth semester with IREF, where he is currently serving as a Principal. This coming summer, Eamon will be a real estate summer analyst at StepStone Group. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Jeremy Strauss
Development Officer
Jeremy is a senior from Southboro, Massachusetts, pursuing a finance degree as well as a real estate certificate. This is his fifth semester in IREF, where he is serving as a Principal. Jeremy interned at Hodes Weill & Associates last summer and will be returning there full time upon graduating. In his free time, Jeremy loves to play sports, watch tv shows, and hangout with friends and family.
Rahul Nair
Principal
Rahul is a junior from Westborough, MA pursuing a degree in finance and certificates in real estate and data analytics. This is his fourth semester in IREF, where he serves as an Associate. Rahul is interested in Proptech and lending in commercial real estate, and hopes to pursue professional opportunities in them in the future. This summer, Rahul joined Snap Life Sciences in Boston as an intern. In his free time, Rahul loves watching sports, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Dom Cuzzi
Principal
Dom is a senior finance major from Mansfield, MA. This will be his fourth semester in the fund, where he will serve as a principal. This summer, he joined hotelAVE as an intern in asset management and advisory services. Outside of real estate, Dom enjoys sports, movies, travel, and quality time with friends and family.
Justin Dinowitz
Principal
Justin is a junior from West Hartford, CT, and is pursuing a dual degree in mathematics and finance. This is his fourth semester with IREF, where he serves as a Principal. This summer, he worked as an Actuarial Intern at Travelers Insurance in Hartford. He will be returning next summer. In his free time, he loves ping pong, weightlifting, coding, and the New York Mets.
Andrew Slaney
Principal
Andrew is a senior finance major from Mansfield, MA, currently in his fourth semester at IREF, where he serves as a Principal. This summer, he joined BioMed Realty in their Cambridge office as an Investments/Asset Management intern. In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing golf and basketball, playing guitar, and traveling.
Dilara Onur
Principal
Dilara is a junior from Plainville, Massachusetts, pursuing a degree in finance and a minor in building and construction technology. She is currently in her third semester of IREF where she
serves as an Associate and is also on the young leadership team for Smart Women Securities. She is interested in the asset management and development sector of real estate, where she aspires to pursue these fields professionals in the near future. In her spare time Dilara loves
playing tennis, traveling with family and friends, and listening to podcasts.
Emily Vaz Falcao
Associate
Emily is a junior finance major from Holliston, MA, pursuing the real estate certification. She is in her third semester with IREF, where she serves as an associate, and she also holds the role of Vice President of the UMass Real Estate Club. Last summer, Emily interned with Torrington Properties as a Real Estate Rotational Intern, and next summer she will join PwC in Boston as an intern on their Financial Markets & Real Estate team. In her free time, she loves to travel, bake, and spend time with friends and family.
Adam Souza
Associate
Adam is a senior from Fall River, MA, pursuing a degree in managerial economics. He is in his third semester at IREF, where he will serve as an Associate. Adam is interested in capital markets and lending within commercial real estate. This summer, Adam worked at BayCoast Bank in Swansea, MA as a Mortgage Intern. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and playing golf and soccer.
Julia McIntyre
Analyst
Julia is a Junior honors resource economics major from Waltham, MA. She is currently in her second semester of IREF where she will be serving as an Analyst. She also serves as Secretary of the UMass Real Estate Club. Prior to joining IREF, Julia was a member of the Real Estate Diversity Program (REDP) organized by IREF in Fall of 2024. In her free time, Julia enjoys traveling, skiing, pilates, and being with family and friends.
Maya Lai
Analyst
Maya is a junior double finance and hospitality and tourism management major from Los Angeles, CA. She is currently in her second semester in IREF where she serves as an Analyst. Prior to joining IREF, she participated in IREF's Real Estate Diversity Program in the fall of 2024. Maya is interested in pursuing a career in the hospitality sector of real estate. In her free time, she enjoys photography, skiing, and cafe hopping with friends.
Alex Popelka
Analyst
Alex is a sophomore finance major pursuing a certification in real estate and minor in Environmental Science. He is from Westford, MA and this will be his second semester in IREF where he will serve as an Analyst. This past summer, he interned at Winstanley Enterprises where he focused on Student Housing and Distribution Center developments. In his spare time, Alex enjoys skiing, hiking, and woodworking.
Desmond Simon
Analyst
Desmond is a junior managerial economics major from Concord, MA. He is currently in his second semester of IREF, where he serves as an Analyst. This Summer, he worked at The Bozzuto Group as a Property Management and Leasing Intern. Desmond is also a member of the UMass Club Lacrosse Team. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, golf, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
Marlin Hamm
Analyst
Marlin is a Junior from Ithaca, New York. He is pursuing a BBA in finance and a real estate certificate. This is his second semester with IREF where he is an Analyst. Marlin is interested in construction, acquisitions, and management in commercial real estate and hopes to pursue professional opportunities in this sector. In his free time, Marlin enjoys traveling, skiing, working out, and spending time with friends and family.

Owen is a junior from Burlington, VT pursuing a degree in economics and a minor in psychology. He is in his second semester in IREF where he will be serving as an Analyst. Owen is interested in acquisitions and lending within commercial real estate. In his spare time, Owen enjoys skiing, traveling, working out, soccer, and spending time with friends and family.
Estefani Medrano
Analyst
Estefani is a sophomore finance major. She is from Somerville, MA, and this will be her second semester in IREF. Prior to joining IREF, she participated in IREF's Real Estate Development program in the fall of 2024. Throughout the semester, Estefani will be obtaining her licence in real estate. In her free time Estefani enjoys watching basketball, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends.
Landon Maxwell

Landon is a junior from Marion, MA, pursuing a degree in finance with a certificate in real estate. He is currently in his second semester with IREF, where he serves as an analyst. Landon is interested in pursuing a future career in real estate banking. In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.
Shayla Igoe
Analyst
Shayla is a sophomore from Haverhill, Massachusetts pursuing a degree in finance with a certificate in Real Estate. She is currently in her second semester of IREF where she is serving as an Analyst. She is also the marketing director of the UMass Real Estate Club. Last summer, she interned with Northbridge Partners and is interested in private equity real estate. In her free time, Shayla enjoys going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and listening to music.

Fawwaz is a sophomore from Shrewsbury, MA, pursuing a degree in finance. He is currently in his first semester in IREF, where he is serving as a Junior Analyst.
