Niko King
President
​
Niko is a senior finance major with a minor in economics from Randolph, MA. This is his fifth semester in IREF and he is currently serving as President. This past semester he interned as Program Manager for Project Destined on Team JLL (Boston). This summer he served as an intern at KKR & Co. Inc on their Real Estate Credit team in their New York office. In his free time, Niko enjoys snowboarding, photography and spending time with his friends.
Vaughn Goldsmith
Chairman

Vaughn is a senior finance major from Franklin, MA. This is his fifth semester in IREF and he is currently serving as Chairman. Last semester, he worked as a Real Estate Data Intern for Avison Young. This past summer he worked as an Analyst intern for the RMR Group in their Newton office. Next summer, Vaughn will be working full time as a Commercial Real Estate Banking Analyst for Wells Fargo. In his spare time, Vaughn enjoys watching sports and cooking.
Gillian Holt
Director

Gillian is a senior accounting major from Franklin, MA. She is currently serving as Director in her fourth semester in IREF. She is co-chair of the Real Estate Development Program by IREF. Last summer she interned at Marcus Partners, a commercial real estate private equity firm. This summer she interned at KPMG on their Deal Advisory Team in their Boston Office. In her free time, Gillian enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and traveling.
Aidan Erickson-Mullane
Portfolio Manager

Aidan is a senior from Natick, MA majoring in Finance while pursuing certificates in real estate and data analytics. This is his third semester in IREF where he will be serving as the Portfolio Manager of the fund. Last summer he was an Acquisitions Intern with Dreamstone Investments, and this summer he interned as a summer analyst at StepStone Group in their New York office. Next summer, Aidan will join StepStone full time as a Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst. Outside of real estate, he enjoys weightlifting, playing pickup sports with friends, and spending time with family.
Noah George
Principal

Noah is a junior finance major from Yarmouth, MA currently pursuing a real estate certificate. This is his third semester with IREF, where he is currently serving as a Principal as well as President of the UMass Real Estate Club. Last semester, he worked as a commercial real estate intern on Team AEW for Project Destined. He has secured a 2024 internship where he will serve as a Financial Markets and Real Estate Intern for PwC in their Boston Office. In his free time, he loves weight lifting, skiing with friends, and traveling.
Julia Zangrilli
Associate

Julia is a junior finance major considering a minor in psychology from Suffern, New York. She is currently in her fourth semester of IREF serving as an Associate. Prior to her joining IREF, she participated in IREF's Women's Development Program in the fall of 2021. This summer, Julia interned at ConnectOne Bank as a Construction Loan Administration intern in their New York office. Next summer, Julia will join JLL New York as a Capital Markets Intern. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and going to the beach.
Kayla Thai
Analyst

Kayla is a junior finance major pursuing a real estate certificate from Westford, MA. This is her second semester with IREF, where she is currently serving as an Analyst. Prior to joining IREF, she participated in IREF’s Real Estate Development Program in the fall of 2022. This summer she interned at Taurus Investment Holdings in their Boston office on their Multifamily Acquisitions team. Next summer, Kayla will join Citi Bank in their NYC HQ as an Investment Banking Real Estate Lending Intern. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, visiting the city, and listening to music.
Jake Bova

Jake is a senior from Sandwich, MA pursuing a degree in finance and certificates in real estate and data analytics. He is in his fifth semester in IREF. Last summer he worked at MassMutual within their Insurance Operations division. This summer he interned at Beacon Capital Partners as an Acquisitions Analyst in their Boston office. Next summer, Jake will be working full time as a Commercial Real Estate Banking Analyst for Wells Fargo. In his free time he enjoys playing and watching basketball, watching award-winning movies, and being with his family.
Natalie Rais
Principal

Natalie is a junior finance major with a minor in Business and Construction Technology from Waltham MA. She is currently in her fourth semester of IREF, serving as a Principal and Marketing Director for the UMass Real Estate Club. This summer, Natalie served as a Real Estate Operations Intern for Torrington Properties in their Boston office, and in summer 2024 she will join Well Fargo's Real Estate Banking Team as an Analyst Intern in Charlotte. In her spare time she loves to travel, ski, and read or listen to a podcast.
Julia Farrell
Associate​

Julia is a junior marketing major from Northborough, MA. This is her fourth semester with IREF, where she is currently serving as an Associate. Last summer Julia was a participant of Goldman Sachs Virtual Insight Series. This summer, Julia interned with Greystar as a Property Management Intern in their Boston office. Next summer, Julia will join JLL Boston as a Capital Markets Intern. Outside of IREF, Julia is the marketing chair for Isenberg Global Citizens. In her free time she enjoys staying active and visiting the Jersey Shore.
Nico Piazza
Analyst

Nico is a junior finance major pursuing a certification in real estate and considering a minor in construction technology. He is from Wilmington, MA and this will be his second semester in IREF where he will be serving as an Analyst as well as Vice President of the Real Estate Club. Prior to joining IREF, he participated in IREF’s Real Estate Development Program in the fall of 2022. This summer, Nico worked as a Leasing Intern for the Bozzuto Group out of the Boston area. Next summer, Nico will join Pebblebrook Hotel Trust in DC as a Financial Analyst Intern. In his free time, Nico enjoys playing sports, cooking, music, and spending time with friends and family.

Alexis is a senior from Westwood, MA majoring in finance and pursuing certificates in real estate and data analytics. This is her fourth semester in IREF where she is currently serving as a Principal. This past year she interned as a Merchandising Intern for the TJX companies and this summer she interned as an Analyst at The RMR Group in their Newton Office. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys running, traveling, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
Sofia Kofman

Sofia is a senior finance major from Westwood MA pursuing a certificate data analytics. She is currently in her fourth semester of IREF and serving as an Associate. Last summer, she interned at Wellington Management in their Boston office in their Enterprise-Operational Risk Management Team. This summer she returned to Wellington as a Global Trading intern. Next summer, Sofia will be working full time as an InvesTech Business Management Associate at Wellington Management. In her free time she loves to weight train, play the piano, watch sports, and go to the beach.

Last summer, she interned with Newmark at their Boston office and worked with their Research and Medical/Educational Teams. This summer she interned at Beacon Capital Partners as Acquisitions Analyst in their Boston office. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, watching sports, and traveling.
Will Carr

Will is a junior from Wayland, MA pursuing a degree in finance and a certificate in real estate. He is in his second semester with IREF where he is currently serving as an Analyst. Last summer he worked for Middlesex Savings Bank as a bank teller. He is interested in capital markets, development and lending in commercial real estate. Next summer, Will will join Santander Bank in Boston as a Lending and Portfolio Management Intern. In his free time he enjoys playing hockey, going skiing, and motorcycling.
Ryan Kirschner

Ryan is a sophomore from Needham, MA, majoring in Operations & Information Management and pursuing the Real Estate Certificate. This is his second semester with IREF, where he is currently serving as an Analyst as well as Secretary of the Real Estate Club. This summer he worked at BioMed Realty in their Boston office, where he served as a Leasing Intern. Next summer, Ryan will join Walker & Dunlop in their Boston Office as a Capital Markets & Servicing Intern. In his free time he enjoys powerlifting, spending time with friends, playing basketball, and traveling.
Nicholas Julian

Nicholas is a sophomore from Lynnfield, MA pursuing a degree in finance and a certificate in real estate. This is his second semester in IREF serving as an Analyst. Prior to joining IREF, he participated in IREF’s Real Estate Development Program in the fall of 2022. This summer, Nicholas interned at J.L. Dunn as a Project Manager and Estimating Intern for properties throughout Boston. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys working out, playing hockey, listening to music, and enjoying time with family and friends.
Alex Breton

Alex is a sophomore management major from Natick, MA. He is also pursuing a minor in construction management as well as the real estate certificate. This is his second semester with IREF where he is serving as an Analyst. This summer, Alex interned for Varsity Campus, managing lease turnovers for student housing on-site in Charlotte and Buffalo. In his free time, Alex enjoys working out, skiing, and cooking.
Isabel Donahoe
Analyst
Isabel is a junior marketing major pursuing a real estate certificate from Danvers, MA. This is her second semester with IREF, where she is currently serving as an Analyst. Prior to joining IREF, she participated in IREF’s Real Estate Development Program in the fall of 2022. This summer, she worked at Charles River Laboratories in Boston where she served as a Global Real Estate Intern. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, cooking, and traveling.
Tyler Henlotter

Tyler is a sophomore Finance major pursuing a real estate certificate from Marblehead, MA. This is his second semester in IREF, where he serves as an Analyst. Prior to joining IREF, he was selected to participate in IREF’s Real Estate Development Program in the fall of 2022. This summer he worked at Cathartes in their Boston office, where he served as a CRE Equity Research intern. In his free time, he enjoys tubing, skiing, and building things.
Saige Smith

Saige is a junior from Westfield, MA pursuing a degree in finance with a minor in economics and
a certificate in real estate. She’s in her first semester of IREF. Last summer, she served as a Human Resources intern at Westfield Bank. She interned at Westfield Bank again this summer within their Risk Management Department. In her free time she enjoys playing soccer and basketball, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
Jeremy Strauss
Junior Analyst

Jeremy is a sophomore from Southboro, Massachusetts, pursuing a finance degree as well as a real estate certificate. This is his first semester in IREF, where he serves as a Junior Analyst. Jeremy is interested in the multifamily sector of real estate, and he hopes to pursue professional opportunities in this sector in the future. In his free time, Jeremy loves to play sports, watch tv shows, and hangout with friends and family.
